Social Media: An Unstoppable Force Our Community Must Embrace.

by Aaron

Social Media is getting rammed down our throats weather we like it our twititorialnot. Mainstream cable news channels such as MSNBC and CNN have entire shows decicated to re-reading you the live stream about X topic during their new cast. While it’s kind of tacky when they attempt to do it, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used Twitter for breaking news stories, hot topics, and networking. Twitter isn’t a fad so it’s in your best interest to sign-up, participate, and embrace our greatest source of real time news that has, like I said, been embraced by virtually all major news, music, and entertainment during the past few years -why? They see the potential.
Our turn. How can we work together to create not only a Twitter army of autism awareness broadcasting but create a bonding between people around the globe all linked by one thing -autism.

It’s mentioned here a few times on the site but currently there is no legitimate social network that caters specifically to parents of autistic children, along with the people who love them. We understand that getting initial help for an autistic child can be heart breaking and leave you feel isolated and confused. BOOM. Enter theAUTSPOT.com. theAUTSPOT.com founder Greg and Dele realized (as you will soon see) that the World Wide Web is SATURATED with autism groups on social networks. These graphics should help drive the point home:

In just a few years people laughed at social media, now most of us can’t escape it! Any Communications expert will tell you that the Web is the next generation of human interaction. On theAUTSPOT.com we’ve had parents from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, and Pacific Ocean connect with each other, share advice, keep each other updated on their well progress of their children and most of all be there to support each other through rough times. We understand how dreadful face to face classes can be for some parents, or a family holding down two jobs and not able to make it to any physical support groups -fear no more. Just boot up your internet and navigate your way over to theAUTSPOT.com, sign up and put a smile on your face.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
