I wanted to do this blog post to personally thank each and every one of you for signing up on theAUTSPOT.com -the reason it exists relies on active memebers like you. We strongly believe in the power of social media and how it can help promote awareness for our cause; so not only is theAUTSPOT.com a social media website, we actively tweet on Twitter under the handle “@theautblog“, our Facebook presence is very strong we highly encourage anyone and everyone to join our fan page as we communicate the most through that specific network.
The idea for a social networking website similar to Myspace but targeted at adults and loved ones with children on the autistic spectrum came about when Greg Koltsolv and Dele Popoola were roommates at the University of Santa Barbara. Dele, who has an autistic cousin, saw the current market was saturated with autism groups but these groups, mainly found homes on ad heavy and unsecured websites like Yahoo Groups or Facebook; along with being so scattered and small. Thus the idea to build a central hub of support, awareness, along with friendliness, advice, and help locating the best specialist in your area for your child was born.
TheAUTSPOT.com went live in 2009 as an internet start-up company that makes no revenue from the website because we want it ad free and clean for our users, the traffic and user base has grown at a rate only seasoned veterans hope to see.
Poke around,, sign up to see all the features (don’t worry we don’t spam you!) we are sure you’ll enjoy interacting with our other users by asking or answering questions. Sometimes a simple helpful answer can change put a person feeling down perk right back up into happy mode. We like to keep that vibe going here at the ‘spot so hop in and change your outlook, while making another human’s day. All in the name of autism awareness.

I’M A MOTHER OF A BEAUTIFUL BOY NAMED FRANCESCO , ABOUT FOUR MONTH’S A GO THE DOCTOR THAT FRANCESCO GOES TO IN ROME TOLD US THAT IT WAS THE VACCINATION THAT HE DID TO MAKE HIM AUTISTIC, ME AND MY HUSBAND WERE SHOCKED BUT THE DOCTOR TOLD US WE SHOULD SUE ! I KNOW THAT IF WE WIN IT WON’T CHANGE FRANCESCO BUT IT CAN SURE HELP US TO PAY TO GET BETTER HELP FOR HIM. MY ADVISE TO ALL THE PARENTS WITH AUTISTIC CHILDREN IS DON’T LOOSE YOUR FAITH MY SON IS GETTING BETTER , I WILL PRAY FOR ALL ARE CHILDREN . TAKE CARE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU’S ALL.
