Social Stories

I would like any info or recommendations on where to buy or how to write social stories.  My son is 6 and is mostly nonverbal but is really into books!!  Any help would be appreciated!

I would only encourage books, social stories...So good for the child. Expands the mind!

My mother picked this up for my 5 year old at this Years Defeat Autism Now Conference...Maybe this will do.

Hi Short are such a help! Check out this article on writing them, it is possible to write your own and it is really not that difficult if you know what you want to target Heres a link that you may fine helpful

Hi we made our own with Dylans school. We kept the words very simple and few then used his own drawings and photos showing what the story was about. Keep it very positive and we had to be pretty careful of what we wrote as Dylan takes everything very literal. I hope this helps.
