ARTS Rx has open enrollment for our new Creative Arts Social Skills Group Series for children with special needs. Our Sunday program runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes and includes Art, Dance/Movement and Music Therapy Groups.
We offer an integrated approach that combines hands-on creative arts experiences through the modalities of art therapy, music therapy, and

Fifteen students between the ages of 9 and 17 have the opportunity to take individualized weekly music lessons at the Boston Conservatory in either piano or violin. Each student is further supported by a Consultative Team, including a Music Therapist, a Speech Pathologist, special educators, and professional musicians and/or music educators with a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum.

I am a Board Certified Music Therapist who has refined my musical skills through years of extensive study and performance. A person-centered therapy provider, I specialize in supporting creativity, self-expression and self-empowerment. I earned a Bachelors of Music with dual majors in Music Therapy and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Before graduating with honors, I sat as President of the Board for the New England Region Music Therapy Association for Students. In addition, I worked as a therapist while completing a series of five practica and an extensive internship at the Community Music Center of Boston. I am a member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). I am also certified as a Neurologic Music Therapist. |
