We provide individual support sessions with trained members of staff. These sessions may focus on communication, relationships, employment, pre- and post-diagnostic support, leisure opportunities, or simply give you the opportunity to talk to someone about any difficulties you are facing. The content of the sessions is decided by the client and there is no limit to the number of sessions available. We also run small, focused 10-week group workshops on topics ranging from self-esteem to anxiety management. Many of these workshops are run jointly with Trainee Clinical Psychologists from Surrey University. ASSIST also has a Facebook Group and an msn chat group. We are open every Thursday from 4.30pm to 9pm and one Saturday per month by appointment only. |
