Autism in Long Beach provides Free Resources, Events, Sibling Inclusion,
Group Activities, and Support for Families on the Spectrum.
Our weekly Autism Awareness Booth at Farmer's Market Downtown Long Beach on Promenade between 3rd/4th St. Every Friday is still going strong! Over 80 books have been donated mostly by the genorosity of Dr. Sherry Meinberg author of Autism ABC's. Author Amalia Starr provides her book Raising Brandon to our Famiies for Free! If you haven't stopped by our Farmers Market Booth you are missing out!! We have Free Resources for families, Current Local Events, Free Autism Library to check out books, Janet Sainz our Spanish Translator, and guest appearances by therapists, authors, and local Mom's.

Purpose

Services
The Autism Outreach Project provides information, dissemination of demographic data, referrals, and training on best practices in identification and program development for students with autism spectrum disorders to Washington families, schools, and agencies. |

Through first hand experience, we previously learned that the most difficult part of receiving an autism diagnosis was the lack of support and readily available information. With our broad database of highly interactive members, we are an excellent established vehicle to conduct surveys and find interested participants for research projects and educational training.
